Accessibility statement

This website has been developed with reference to the NHS accessibilty guidelines which reflect the current guidance issued to government bodies via the Central Office of Information for producing public websites.

To reflect this guidance our site aims to comply with the W3C's Web Content Accessibilty Guidelines 2.0 level AA. Some of the means we have used to follow this across the site include:

  • Using CSS to control look and feel seperating content from styling
  • Using valid xhtml
  • Not using images for navigation
  • Using appropriate alt text where appropriate
